CELERY & WATERMELON CRUSH

My breakfast this morning was so simple and so satisfying. Just blend the ingredients pictured together, and add whatever superfoods you like - spirulina, supergreens, psyllium husk, chia seeds!

OR, you can simply enjoy the hydrating and alkalising effects of celery, watermelon and greens, plus the medicinal properties of ginger - it's a stimulant for the heart and promotes good circulation, as well as relieving nausea and gastric upset.

Ingredients
2 Stalks celery
1 inch fresh ginger
3 slices frozen watermelon (if fresh, just add ice)
2 big handfuls of leafy greens (spinach, cos, kale or chard)
Water and ice as needed.

Blend it up! Due to the high water content it'll separate, but no big deal! Enjoy this juicy smoothie!
