Hmmmmmmmm is this a Health Yeah topic? Is it? Isn't it? Borderline?

Well I dunno, but just how extremely chuffed I was with myself after successfully completing this cool trick has GOT to be good for my mental health. And the environment. And my wallet - reduce reuse recycle! Who doesn't love a good life hack?

So I am in the process of phasing out my unnatural makeup and replacing it with all natural organic products. But on the other hand, I am a stinge, and when my hardly used Mac bronzing powder smashed into thousands of pieces in my handbag, I wasn't ready to let go just yet.

If this has happened to you you KNOW what a huge mess it makes when you try to salvage it, use it, give up, throw it away. But hark! There is a solution! All you need is a small cap-full of rubbing alcohol (available at the pharmacy for next to nothing):
  1. Take your broken powder and using the end of a teaspoon, gently crush the pieces up even more until they look uniformly crumbled.
  2. Add a few drops of alcohol into the broken powder makeup,  stirring with the end of the spoon.
  3. Continue adding alcohol droplets until the powder is completely wet and malleable.

4.    Jiggle the powder compact gently to evenly distribute the makeup.
5.    Leave it open overnight - the alcohol will evaporate, leaving you with completely restored makeup!

Voila, as new bronzing powder! Gonna try the same thing on my eye shadow! And if disaster ever strikes my future organic makeup powders I'll know exactly what to do!
