Things got a little crazy this morning...I blended one mango, a big handful of coriander (aka cilantro), 2 green kiwifruit, a squirt of lime juice and some ice. The result was a crazy delicious pudding-like smoothie. Next time I'll use frozen mango and I think it will be even better. Serves one.
Coriander is a super herb, rich in flavenoids and antioxidants, potassium, calcium, manganese, iron and magnesium. It is a powerful, natural cleansing agent, effective for heavy metal cleansing. It's one of those love-it-or-hate-it herbs, and chances are, if you hate the taste of coriander, there's traces in your system that need cleansing and you're one of the people that need it most! Tip: If you have organic kiwifruit, leave the skin on the kiwis as its a good source of flavonoids, insoluble fibre and antioxidants. All have a beneficial effect on your body's metabolic functions, your digestive system and cardiovascular apparatus. Not to mention it reduces waste! |
