The tropics in a glass! I followed a recipe on this one and the result was rather sweet for my taste. I suggest forgoing the honey. If you want a more protein packed breakky, you can add LSA, a few mild nuts, flax seeds, hemp protein powder, or other smoothie friendly additives:
Serves 2 2 cups fresh or frozen mango sliced 1/2 an orange 2 frozen bananas 1 handful of spinach 1/2 cup light coconut milk (or desiccated coconut + coconut water) 1/2 cup water (add more if you have trouble getting it to blend) 1 Tsp honey (optional) 1/2 tsp coconut essence or vanilla extract a pinch of sea salt |
