No-Churn Heilala Banana Icecream

Once again, plants have a beautiful answer to those pesky junk food cravings - this time in the form of wonderful, versatile, fibre, potassium, manganese and vitamin B6-packed bananas.

Introducing easiest homemade frozen banana icecream you ever did see. It's one of my favourite treats, whipped up in seconds, plant-powered, and dairy and refined sugar free.

Before we get down to business, I wanted to mention two fabulous Kiwi brands I am using in this recipe. I love locally owned food companies, especially ones that that are doing amazing stuff to change the face of the food industry ... No-Churn Heilala Banana Icecream

And now for the easiest healthiest ice cream-craving-buster:

2 peeled and frozen All Good Organic Bananas
1/2 teaspoon Heilala Ground Vanilla Beans

2 Tbsp almond or peanut butter
1/4 cup dairy free milk , more if needed - depends on your blender (I used coconut milk).
Pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: walnuts, maple, chocolate chunks, berries, coconut flakes, cacao powder, cacao nibs, OR your own chocolate ice topping made with melted coconut oil, coconut sugar and cacao powder. It sets on contact with your cold icecream!

I just chuck everything into my optimum blender, whizz it up and enjoy! For a firmer Ice cream, freeze for about 30 minutes before eating.
